This is where the fledgling WHYEX graphic design began to spread its wings. We took flight in the total freedom of taking one-off product shots, from extraordinary angles in a unique factory environment. From the very first catalogue in 2001 to its final edition in 2016, the NICOLAI catalogue remained a benchmark for bicycle catalogues. Usually these highly prized ‘magalogues’ are printed to coincide with the start of trade shows. Not at NICOLAI. The print-run started when the story to be told, had been told.
